Would you like to grow as a finance professional in an international environment? We are now looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Accounts team in Helsinki.
Duties & responsibilities
As a Finance Assistant you will provide support to Bird & Bird Finland's finance function in the day-to-day processing and handling of accounts transactional matters, invoicing, credit control and reporting. By joining a truly international firm, you will also work closely with you international colleagues especially from the Nordics and UK.
You can either be at the early stages of your career or you can have several years of experience from an operational finance role. You also have a relevant educational background, e.g. in finance. We consider previous working experience from a business law firm or other professional services environment as an advantage. In addition, our ideal candidate is able to demonstrate:
- a genuine interest in finance and preciseness in numbers;
- comfort with consistency and routines;
- a good command of Microsoft Office programs;
- a desire to work for a truly international firm;
- fluency in both Finnish and English; and
- a sense of humor – we are serious about business but we truly believe that working should be fun!
