Job Description

We are now seeking for a Factory Manager to the Valve factory in Vantaa to lead our Positioner and Valve Controller manufacturing.

As a Factory Manager, you are responsible for heading all operations in your area including assembly, testing, planning, purchasing, development, quality and safety. You will also manage suppliers and supplier relationships in your area. In addition to the daily management, you are responsible for developing our smart products processes from order to delivery together with your team and global colleagues.

The amount of personnel in your area is 45 with 7 direct reports. You have budget responsibility according to annual plans and KPI's. You are a member of Helsinki Plant management team and you report to the Plant Director.


To Succeed

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in leading manufacturing operations and a master’s degree in a technical field. You are experienced in LEAN and have a proven track record of LEAN development.

We value knowledge and experience of electronics or mechatronics and of testing in manufacturing. Previous experience in supplier management is an asset.

Your workstyle is independent and accountable. As a person and co-worker, you are proactive and have good collaboration skills. Your communication skills are great and you are fluent in English and Finnish, both written and verbal.
