Berner is now looking for an internationally experienced sales person for the position of


You are responsible for growing further our KORREK car care product business in the European market as well as initiating and managing new business opportunities. As a member of the Berner team you are contributing to the execution and development of the international sales strategy. The Export Manager reports to the Category Manager. Berner company headquarters is in Helsinki, but this position can be managed also from northern Europe, Scandinavia or Great Britain.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • driving sales and business development in the European market
  • creating and implementing an international growth strategy both in consumer and professional product groups
  • building and negotiating strong distributor cooperation
  • budgeting and following-up on sales and marketing activities, raising the turnover in accordance with the set goals
  • preparing sales and training materials together with our internal and external stakeholders; you share your knowledge in training events to distributors
  • identifying, initiating and developing new markets, customers and projects.

An ideal candidate has:

  • appropriate commercial education
  • several years of sales experience in international retail
  • good knowledge of car dealers/automotive sector in different European countries and strong interest in car care branch
  • experience of strategic planning and implementation
  • fluent oral and written English skills, other languages are a clear benefit
  • flexibility and desire to travel 70+ days per year.

As responsible for your market areas, you need to be able to work independently and take decisions when necessary.
