Valio International Food Solution Sales is a part Valio’s Growth Businesses. Our main objective is:
• To drive and develop Valio’s Value-added ingredients and Basic food ingredients sales
• To listen and understand customers and work cross-functionally to support our customers to succeed
• To enable professional, trusted and effective food export and customer care services
We focus on customer-centric sales and marketing operations for our global B2B customers. We are working in close cooperation with other Valio functions and subsidiaries in a result-oriented way.
Now we are looking for Export Coordinator – Customer Care team for fixed term position for approximately August 2024 until June 2025.
The position is located in Valio Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki.
In International Food Solutions Sales we have a customer-centric sales teams of sales managers and a Customer Care team to manage order-to-cash process for international customers.
Your key responsibilities as an Export Coordinator:
- Responsibility of order to cash process for near-by-area customers mostly in Scandinavia and Baltics; planning of B2B customer deliveries
- Order handling, sales forecast updating, arranging of logistics, preparing relevant shipping documentation and invoicing
- Address and resolve any issues; shipping delays, damaged goods or any discrepancies promptly
- Proactive daily communication with internal stakeholders such as Estonian subsidiary, production, categories, R&D and external stakeholders e.g. customers, authorities, and logistic companies.
- Active anticipation, monitoring, and rapid response to customers’ needs
- Arranging of sample shipments
- Provide backup for colleagues when needed
- Participation in projects and piloting when needed
We are looking for candidates with following characters:
- A proactive and innovative approach to work, problem solving skills and flexibility in different situations
- Service minded and result oriented team player
- Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, other languages are considered as an advantage.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of the team
- Ability to work under tight schedules and also ability to enjoy the rapid pace.
- Knowledge and experience in international trade, logistics and operations.
- Experience with the usage of SAP
- Experience in customer service, preferably in B2B customer service.
- Appropriate, at least Bachelor level education in field of International Business or Logistics.
