We are looking for a technically experienced person to our Lumineq Displays Operations team, who can take care of the current production equipment/techniques and support us with the new ones still on the specification phase. Based on your strong knowhow in production environment you will smoothly adapt the versatile role within new production equipment specification, investment planning and purchasing processes. The installation, technical documentation and inspection routines belong to your daily focus. Support and training for production operators and other technical stakeholders are also part of your responsibility. You will work together with the mechanical designers, R&D and process teams to develop the production environment for current and new products.

Enthusiastic and pragmatic attitude is a must, like willingness to learn technical product features affecting the final performance. You won’t be afraid to give your own contribution to team success even if that means “getting hands dirty” tasks with new ideas and production improvements etc.

Essential skills and experience to succeed in this position:

  • MSc in Engineering or equivalent knowledge
  • PLC programming experience
  • DotNet programming experience
  • Basics on CAD design
  • Skills for specify and purchase new production equipment
  • Fluency in documenting results into written reports using modern IT tools
  • Working proficiency in Finnish and English

Desirable skills and experience:

  • CAD/CAM experience
  • Electrical or electronic design experience
  • Cleanroom experience
  • Robotics and motion control understanding
  • All kind of “old-school” programming experience, like Visual Basic, Pascal, etc.
  • Understanding of old operation systems and virtualization, like Win98, NT4, Win7
  • Understanding of Lean principles and quality systems
  • Understanding the analysis methods Sig Sigma, SPC, etc.

The position is located in Espoo, Finland. Occasional travelling might be required.
