Environmental, Health & Safety Manager
to our Dexis dental Imaging Center of Excellence in Tuusula (Palodex Group Oy). As Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager you focus strongly on creating a preventive culture together with site leadership and promote it through the organization. You also actively advance environmental projects at our site in accordance with sustainable development.

Job Requirements
In this position, you work in close cooperation with operations and other stakeholders and support different parts of occupational safety. You are accountable and responsible for performance and sustainment of continuous improvement culture through planning and execution of Lean tools such as 4E, Problem solving, Standard Work and daily management
Your duties include:
Implementation of best practices and ensuring continuous improvement with leading indicators.
Supporting the operations organization in daily safety-related tasks and developing occupational health and safety activities.
Conducting factory risk assessments and possible accident and near-miss investigations together with stakeholders, including reporting and communication.
Ensure environmental compliance of internal operations processes and external reporting.
Orientation and training of personnel regarding environmental and safety practices.
Monitoring the site’s environmental, safety and energy efficiency requirements and reporting to stakeholders.
To be successful in this role it is important you work in cooperation with different functions and have a development-friendly approach to work. An independent and self-initiated way of working makes it easier for you to reach your goals. The position requires very strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Also, to support your success you have:
Degree in Engineering or related field experience
Previous experience from EHS role in manufacturing environment.
Good knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and applicable laws within EHS in Finland
Fluent communication skills in spoken and written English and Finnish.
Understanding and genuine interest in lean and continuous improvement.
Ability to see the big picture and apply critical thinking.
Ability to take ownership, create plans and drive execution to results in collaboration with others.
