Engineering Manager, Calenders

We are looking for an Engineering Manager, Calenders to join our business that focuses on developing, selling and delivering technologies. We have a wide range of different products and services which help our customers to manage their emissions in an efficient way.

Your role as an Engineering Manager is to guide customer project engineering process for chief engineers and implement development actions according to technical, qualitative and economic targets. Your main responsibilities include doing specifications of engineering schedules based on certain framework and ensuring product modelling with technology. You are also responsible for financial follow-up of subcontracting operations and technical support of sales and quotation operations. In addition to that you take part in ensuring our quality feedback process. If this sounds like something that you would like to be a part of, get in touch!

Expectations to you

To be successful in this role, you would need to have prior engineering experience, preferably in finishing machines engineering from paper industry. You are a business and customer-oriented person with good leadership and negotiation skills. You know how to inspire others and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and lead engineering work in our big projects.

  • Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Engineering and some experience in mechanical engineering
  • 5 years+ applicable experience, preferably in an international business environment
  • Strong knowledge of paper and board machines
  • Experience in working as a lead engineer on delivery projects in process industry
  • Commercial mindset and business acumen
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Availability to travel occasionally to meet our customers
