Embedded Software Engineer, Vantaa

In this role, you will be joining a team of 3 developers, UX Designer and Quality Engineer. The team is developing an industrial transmitter device, which is our client’s flagship product. Your main task in this role will be to further develop the device with the team. While intended for robust industrial use and demanding environments, our client wants to create best of breed user experience, so we appreciate if you are interested in developing elegant, intuitive and reliable user interfaces. A product owner and a scrum master make sure you can focus on development.

We are looking for

• Strong Python development skills
• Background in embedded Linux (preferably Yocto)
• Sufficient C/C++ skills for occasional Linux platform level integration work
• Experience of UI development with gtk is a plus
• Basic understanding of Linux services and processes
• Good command of typical git and agile development practices
• Fluent English
• Valid work permit for Finland

• Location: Vantaa (hybrid – about 3 days/week at the office)
