EHSQ Manager, Finland and Baltics

Your role 


We are looking for a Manager, EHSQ Finland and Baltics in the City Solutions division’s Production function. The primary location for the job is in Keilalahti, Espoo, Finland, but also other locations can be considered.

Your job is to manage, develop, monitor, and report the implementation of our EHSQ requirements, targets and actions and to support City Solutions' business in EHSQ in Finland and in the Baltic countries. Security issues will be part of your role.

In this position you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety legislation and the corporate’s requirements and instructions. You will also take responsibility for harmonizing the EHSQ practices across the function.

In addition, your task is to support other functions and teams including our O&M partner to secure safe working conditions and environmental protection. The aim is to continuously improve environmental and safety performance and culture among City Solutions employees. You will also be responsible for managing and improving our Management system and certifications.

You will work in close co-operation with other business units and locations, including other countries. As a manager and expert you will give a significant input by developing, supporting and steering the EHSQ operations. You will report to the Head of EHSQ in the Production function.

Your qualifications 


You preferably hold an MSc in Engineering or in another related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the EHSQ field. We expect you to be familiar in particular with safety, and to be acquainted with environmental legislation and the respective authorities. Knowledge of certification and management systems is a benefit.

Success in this role calls for an active person with managerial skills interested in developing new ways of working and not being afraid of overcoming obstacles and achieving results. In this position, it is also essential to have good communication and interpersonal skills. Good team work skills are important, as the role is managerial and involves working with many internal and external partners. We also expect you to have good English skills.
