YOUR TASK: FINLAND

Finland has the potential to become the most desired travel destination in Northern Europe. Visit Finland’s task is to make that happen and the visitfinland.com website is the international traveler’s window to Finland.

YOUR TASK 

As a creative, forward-thinking, passionate and enthusiastic Editor-in-Chief, you will grow the audience for visitfinland.com and manage other Visit Finland content.

Your mission is to nurture and develop a website that has already been chosen as the best in Finland in the 2018 Finnish Web Awards. Your task is to ensure that the content international travelers see and experience through this window to Finland is exceptional.

You will

  • Be responsible for visitfinland.com’s content strategy and its development
  • Create, adapt and maintain a data-driven content calendar
  • Serve as editor-in-chief for all content to ensure quality, clarity and consistency
  • Build visibility, create compelling content and monitor and report on its performance
  • Serve as a chief storyteller and content strategist by working together with internal and external stakeholders to develop, edit and optimize content to ensure the site innovatively speaks to our audiences

We expect you to have a proven track record of working with wow-content that speaks to consumers. You have vision and drive, and embrace the challenge of being in charge of the best website in Finland. You are no stranger to Google Analytics, KPIs, SEO, SEM, managing budgets, contractors, networks and producing content yourself. You are fluent in English and have working Finnish skills. At least a bachelor’s level degree in Marketing or Communications is strongly preferred.

This position is located in Helsinki.
