We are looking for an EDI / ERP Systems Administrator to strengthen our IT team and to make sure our systems are integrated and they seamlessly communicate with each other.
Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an EDI / ERP Systems Administrator to strengthen our IT team. Our IT team is responsible for providing IT services to Nordic & Baltic countries and we have branch offices in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are a customer-centric organization with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
The successful applicant for the EDI / ERP Systems Administrator's role will join Makita at an exciting time due to a number of interesting and fulfilling projects. The IT strategy for this year includes a number of cloud-based initiatives including an Office365 migration and a number of digitalization projects. There will also be an upcoming project to review and implement a new ERP system.
Your main tasks and responsibilities are to configure and troubleshoot EDI messages. You use Microsoft BizTalk and XML. You will also have project management responsibilities and you will be involved in several development projects. You report directly to the CIO of Makita Oy.
We expect you to have a minimum of 3 years experience in EDI related work as well as technical skills in EDI platforms, ERP systems and Microsoft BizTalk. We value experience in IBM Power i /AS400, Sharepoint and Office365. We expect good communication and writing skills in English and skills in Nordic languages are considered as a plus.

This is a full-time position and the location is in Vantaa, close to Helsinki-Vantaa airport. The work requires travelling to Makita Oy’s branch offices.
