Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group. It is a global leading supplier in equipment and tools, parts, service and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions’ applications include rock drilling, rock cutting, loading, and hauling, tunneling, and quarrying. What are we looking for?
We are looking for an eCommerce Architect for our sales and marketing functions in Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR). In this versatile position, you will participate in gathering business requirements, application design, documentation, and delivery. Your task is to make sure that the application architecture meets the true business needs in question and complies with our architectural strategy and standards. Working towards many different business domains such as sales, marketing, finance, and logistics, you ensure that our business requirements and strategies are successfully translated into new solutions. You provide guidance and direction to developers and to suppliers with the mission to ensure that changes are developed in a cost effective and sustainable way.
The position is permanent and located in Tampere, Finland and report to the IT Operations Manager for Sales and Marketing.
Needed skills to be successful in this role
To succeed in this position, you will need insight into building well-architected cloud applications, preferably on Azure platform. You can spot the right integration patterns and help design the needed integrations. You understand the Agile and DevOps practices and know the basics of ITIL framework. Ideally you would have experience working on a global organization with many stakeholders both in IT and business. While technical knowhow is a must, to succeed you ought to also have had exposure to business. You have an understanding of business processes, and preferably a background in the Manufacturing industry.
If you have an analytical approach, excellent collaboration skills and an ability to communicate your thoughts to stakeholders coming from different domains, you will thrive in this position.
