Downstream Process Specialist, parental leave replacement
located in Rajamäki, Finland
In this role you are responsible for preparing laboratory and pilot scale downstream process and product formulation related experiments according to the work plan laid out by line manager. You will plan, execute and analyse the experiments and report the results to the line manager and other team members in R&D. You will also take care of the environmental and safety practices needed in laboratory and pilot facilities. The work contains both hands on work in the field as well as office hours. We are looking for a person who has a Master or Bachelor educational degree in engineering or science in the field of biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry or natural sciences.

Some of your key qualifications are:
- Experience in handling of proteins, especially enzymes
- Experience in liquid and dry product formulation
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks in the given frame
