We are looking for an experienced Communications Director, who is passionate about employee communications and wants to join our global Group Communications team


In this role you will be responsible for all Fiskars Group employee communications. We are focusing on building a globally collaborative culture aligned with our purpose of making the everyday extraordinary. In addition to strong leadership, an active dialogue and open communications help build our culture. In our daily work, our shared values guide us. They unite Fiskars Group’s brands, businesses, teams, and countries in embracing and communicating our purpose and who we are.


The Director, Employee Communications is responsible for leading the employee communications team, developing and implementing internal communications strategies to support our key initiatives and to drive employee engagement. The role requires leadership skills, the ability to grasp and simplify complex issues and a proven track record of developing and leading communications activities that engage and motivate employees.

In this role you will partner with our senior leaders to convert their communications challenges into actionable plans, building and reinforcing our company culture and supporting in change communications.

As a member of the global Group Communications team, you will develop and implement innovative and engaging communications activities that build on and enhance Fiskars Group’s culture, ambitions and strategic priorities and contribute to a great employee experience.


This role will require proven skills to drive global initiatives that build connectivity, culture and community engagement – across cultures, teams, geographies and cross-generation.


  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in communications
  • M.Sc., B.Sc. or an equivalent degree from a relevant field
  • You have a thorough understanding of internal communications in a global company
  • You are proficient in the English language with excellent writing skills, and can turn corporate content into conversational, everyday language
  • You have the ability to lead a team of people from around the world. You show flexibility to ensure alignment with other time zones as needed
  • You have a strong track record in change communications
  • You have strong networking, presentation and project management skills and know your way around digital channels and social media
  • You are a team player with a cool head under pressure
