We are looking for a Director, Technology and Onsite Support, Grinding to lead the technology support and further strengthen the service capabilities at Outotec. You will lead the technical expert team for Grinding and ensure that global support is based on systematic & reliable operations in order to drive high customer satisfaction. You will also lead competence transfer between own technology area and Market Areas.

As Director, Tech&Onsite Support Grinding, you will:

  • Lead the global Technology and On-Site Support team and its competence management
  • Build, provide and manage high technical expertise in area of process design, operation, maintenance, trouble-shooting and process knowledge
  • Ensure consistency in tools, methods and ways of working with peer Technology support heads and market areas
  • Specialize in Grinding in order to provide expertise support in site operations, technology related incidents and inquiries or problems, even in large scale
  • Provide expertise for problem management, technical sales support, R&D and product development
  • Manage internal technical training resources, training content, certification and training plans and execution in co-operation with learning point and MA services
  • Support Market Areas with their technical competence development
  • Manage Quality, Environment, Health and Safety according to Outotec guidelines
  • Participate in technical claim and warranty handling
  • Provide feedback and expertise link between PL and Market Areas
  • Drive technical support workflow/ticketing system implementation together with other technology TS heads and with Market Areas
  • Drive Technology support implementation as part of Long Term Service Agreements and related performance measurements
  • Ensure that Technical Knowledge Management (service related work instructions, resolution database, fault statistics, technical community) is developed in own technology area

  • Experience in customer operations is seen as an advantage
