We are now looking for a Director, People Analytics to join our People Insights -team. The position is ideally located in the head office, the Biofore House in Helsinki, Finland.

What you will do
Develop advanced analytics projects and create people insights for business impact
Derive and communicate recommendations to senior leadership
Create a people analytics vision and strategy. Support HR organization to be more data-driven by following and sharing trends in the people analytics field
Build analytics capabilities in relevant areas such as e.g., strategic workforce planning and talent intelligence
Create predictive models on topics such as hiring, retention, advancement, performance and pay to assist organization implement its people strategy
Perform impact evaluation of different HR programs and design experiments
Develop HR competence, reporting and analytics capabilities and related operational models in HR
Ensure that HR and managers have relevant tools, dashboards, reports and insights they need
Facilitate the development of analytic capability in HR systems
Support and work with HR organisation, Group HR (Rewards, Strategic development, Occupational Health and Safety), Business HRs and Services in group reporting, analytics needs and people insights to improve business impact
Collaborate with UPM advanced analytics network and relevant data and analytics organizations
Who you are
You have 8+ years relevant experience in people analytics or a comparable role
Degree in economics, I/O psychology or social/behavioral sciences is beneficial
You have previous experience with advanced analytics; applying analytics to process/concept design, performing causal impact evaluation and statistically modelling workforce outcomes such as retention, pay, advancement and absenteeism
You have experience of independently deriving hypotheses of people strategic issues, building data, creating model-based insights, and communicating them to senior leadership
You have hands-on experience in statistical analysis (e.g., regression)
You show strong consultative, critical thinking, analytical, communication, and presentation skills
You have experience in communicating and motivating actions based on insights at executive-level
You have understanding of HR data privacy and compliance requirements
You have solid business understanding & excellent proficiency in English language. Study or work experience from abroad is beneficial
Proficiency in R or Python is required
