We are seeking a Digital Director to take the lead and ownership of Orkla Health’s digital transformation across all functions and geographies. This new role will establish a digital roadmap with technical and business requirements to transform Orkla Health into being a digital oriented company. The overall task will be to proactively identify business opportunities based on new and existing technology and / or business models and ensure a common approach to digitization across functions in Orkla Health and in interaction with digital environments in sister companies, in Orkla IT and in Orkla overall. 

The Digital Director is a new role and will report directly to the CEO of Orkla Health and is member of the management team.

Main tasks within business development:

  • Lead Orkla Health’s digital transformation process 
  • Identify new digital business opportunities based on e.g. AI and aligned with Orkla Health’s business strategy 
  • Be responsible for how Orkla Health develops direct and indirect e-commerce solutions  
  • Identify how data and technology can help Orkla Health to grow its business models and how to meet consumers and customers’ needs in cooperation with relevant business units  
  • Together with the management team, set digital development KPI’s for the whole organization 
  • Ensure that Orkla Health has access to the systems and necessary technology to meet our business needs at any time  
  • Identify how data can give us competitive edge across the value chain  

 Main tasks within IT: 

  • Advise the managers and management group on what it-solutions should be chosen 
  • Ensure that the it-systems are harmonized and utilized in all countries 
  • Ensure that Orkla requirements on it-safety are met in Orkla Health 

 Main tasks within strategy:  

  • Actively contribute to Orkla Health’s overall strategy  
  • Establish, own and execute the digital transformation strategy & roadmap  
  • Identify, challenge and evaluate potential digital innovations  
  • Develop and improve digital customer and consumer experience in close cooperation with Group and Local based Marketing and Sales 
  • Ensure efficient use of digital solutions through new channels and process improvements  


  • Experience from working in a large international company is an advantage  
  • Experienced within digital transformation 
  • Experienced within e.g AI, robotics, data handling 
  • Relevant experience from digital development and change processes at a strategic level


  • Interest and expertise in new technologies such as AI, robotics and data management 
  • Understanding how digital solutions can enable and enhance business models  
  • Good understanding of business development technology 
  • Strong impact skills across different levels in the organisation  
  • Ability to work in an international organisation with matrix setup and functionalized reporting lines 
  • Establishment of digital business strategies   
  • Able to challenge Orkla IT at a professional level  
  • Project management 
  • Change management
  • English (both written and oral - mandatory).
  • Scandinavian (written/oral - beneficial)

International travelling approx 30-50 days annually. Place of work: Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen or Vantaa (Äyritie 24).
