Accountor Finago is looking for a full-time, fixed-term DevOps Engineer enthusiastic about product development for the summer of 2022 – perhaps you? Product Development is at the heart of Accountor Finago and as a DevOps Engineer you will work with the development of Procountor, a web-based financial management software (check out dev.procountor.com) mostly written in Java. More specifically, you will improve as well as automate build, test and release processes in addition to building and maintaining the related infrastructure. The current DevOps maturity level consists of a fairly comprehensive setup in terms of Continuous Integration. Jenkins and modern Container Technology based on Kubernetes and Docker are leveraged, however, there is still work to be done in terms of bridging the gap to Continuous Delivery. So, you will have the opportunity to take part in not only this but also in moving towards Azure!
As a future DevOps Engineer you are self-imposed, have a solution-focused attitude and take responsibility for your own work. In this position you will be working in a Scrum team, so as a team member you are willing to both ask for and give assistance - not to forget being friendly and fun to work with!
With these you are one step ahead:
Relevant educational background
Basic understanding of Docker containers
Some experience with Linux, Applications Servers (e.g. Tomcat) and RDBMS (e.g. MySQL)
Basic programming skills
Fluency in English both written and spoken
It is a plus if you have:
Any knowledge of a Continuous Integration or Delivery Automation product
Any knowledge of Azure
