We are now looking for Account Lead who will drive customer sales in the fields of micro and quantum electronics. You will identify new customer opportunities, help develop offering and manage sales pipeline both with international and domestic customers. We are looking for a person capable of and motivated to transform research findings to business opportunities and help our customers succeed.

The main focus areas in Microelectronics are silicon photonics, radio, MEMS, quantum and hyperspectral technologies as well as applying these to various applications. Most important customer segments are in telecom and consumer electronics, space and especially NewSpace, industrial sensing and measurement, defense and security.

With us, you will be responsible for

  • Actively analysing opportunities for VTT to better support customers business success, driving for a strategic position in the eyes of your customers and matching customers’ challenges and opportunities with VTT excellence
  • Building and managing international and domestic customers sales and partnership activities in the fields of micro and quantum electronics
  • Building strategic customer alignment and seeking new consultative selling opportunities
  • Building virtual sales teams among researcher community
  • Contributing to offering creation and service models together with other stakeholders
  • Keeping track of the sales funnel in the CRM and coordinating the activities towards the customers
  • Participating to marketing action planning and execution

We expect you to have

  • Track record of managing customer relationships, selling complex projects and creating new business
  • Strong collaboration and networking skills
  • Mindset for value-based and consultative sales and business development, business analytics skills valued
  • Good understanding of photonics, low temperature physics or cleanroom operations related customer segments.
  • Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written, are required.
  • Other possible language skills are considered as an advantage.
  • Master´s level in a relevant field as preference.

You have the ambition to drive for result and close the deals. Your excellent negotiation and networking skills help you reach your goals in collaboration with others.
