Demand and Supply Planner
Metsä Board Supply Chain is looking for
DEMAND AND SUPPLY PLANNER
for a one (1) year temporary employment to Metsä Board office in Tampere, Finland or in Husum, Sweden. In the position you will be part of Metsä Board S&OP team, reporting to Sales and Operations Planning Director. Demand and Supply Planner is responsible for mills’ short term plan and daily availability management. Role requires strong co-operation together within S&OP team and with other supply chain functions, sales support and production.
What's your role in the future Metsä?
Your key responsibilities include:
Creating and maintaining rough production plan for board machines
Identifying and handling exceptions compared to monthly S&OP plan in short-term horizon
Making sure production blocks are sent to production planning according to schedules
Exception and constraint handling in mid- and short-term horizon
Joining and supporting master data and development work.
What are we looking for?
We expect you to have good understanding of S&OP, supply chain management and sales processes. You have versatile experience in S&OP or closely related tasks. You are excellent in numbers and able to understand large and complex issues. We expect you to have excellent communication and networking skills. You need to be able to work under pressure solving problems pro-actively independently and in teams. Good verbal and written communication skills in English are also required. Finnish and Swedish skills are seen as a benefit. You also need to have advanced SAP APO and MS Excel skills.
