Elisa Automate is a start-up within Elisa's international business domain at the start of a great success story. In our multitalented team we combine state of the art know-how in software design, network technology and machine learning to create cloud based zero touch automation for telcos. We develop our business and products using Lean Startup approach and sell globally to leading international operators. We recently acquired Swedish company Polystar to further strengthen our customer offering and speed up our growth.

We are now looking for an internationally-minded customer operations and delivery professional to join the Customer Delivery and Operations team. You will be driving and leading global customer delivery projects for Elisa Automation solutions and services. As Delivery Manager, your key metrics are customer satisfaction, project delivery timelines and delivery quality, as well as upselling of Elisa Automate solutions. You work closely with the technical team to deliver the products and services to the customer.

You report directly to the Head of Customer Operations.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Lead global customer projects, ensure customer success and timely delivery of solutions
  • Proactively drive win-win relationships with customers
  • Apply the lean startup model. Apply an agile way of working with active learning and experimentation.
  • Collect, document and analyse customer learnings for product and process development
  • Act as the technical authority and expert when required
  • Prepare and maintain project plans and materials
  • Organise daily, weekly and monthly follow-ups with the customers

What we are looking for from you:

  • Hands-on experience from telecom industry with references
  • International experience of customer projects, preferably with mobile or fixed operators
  • Technical expertise and knowledge related to telecom networks 
  • Experience related to network fault and performance management is an advantage
  • Understanding and experience with agile software development would also be an advantage
  • Of utmost importance is the ability to react to customer needs, new requirements and tight deadlines, but working in a systematic way
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral),
  • University degree, preferably in engineering or computer science
  • Willingness to travel
  • The role is based in Helsinki
