Data Quality Manager
Elisa Data & Analytics (D&A), is the team responsible for developing and maintaining Elisa's large scale data and analytics capabilities together with business and processes. We are strongly data-driven and focused of learning how to serve our customers better by offering better experiences in our customers’ everyday life. We understand that finding and presenting the right data is an essential part of the success of our businesses and processes.
We are growing our humble data experts' team and looking for a Data Quality Manager to join us and work together with Elisa’s businesses and processes. Since most stakeholders and team members are in Helsinki, we recommend being based here, but other locations can be discussed.
This is a brand new role in our team, and we're excited to get you on board! As Data Quality Manager you are responsible for Elisa’s Data Quality processes. You work closely with our data experts, business units, IT and other stakeholders in implementing and coordinating required data quality measurements and improvements. You are in a key role in developing data quality procedures, practices, tools and our agility to go even further. In addition you act as owner for some data quality monitoring systems. You take care of reporting and communicating data quality success, issues and tasks within Elisa. Your three main goals are:
- Establishing and implementing Data Quality capabilities required to ensure the quality of our data, including standards, processes, tools and metrics
- Leading efforts to resolve identified systemic data quality issues (including issue documentation, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation)
- Ensuring Data Quality requirements and capabilities are designed and embedded into business functions and processes
Who are we looking for?

We hope that in addition you would have an understanding of and experience in data quality and management practices (preferably including data quality methods and fitting these methods together with processes). Previous knowledge or experience in Elisa's business and/or production systems is a strong advantage, but naturally not a requirement. Having a good understanding of EDW, databases, SQL and reporting platforms will help you succeed in this role. In order to communicate and administrate necessary actions to business line and processes you must have an excellent people touch and convincing communication skills in Finnish and English.
