We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Strategy & Analytics team at Schibsted Suomi!
In this role, you would have an exciting opportunity to work with Finland’s leading marketplace brands Tori, Oikotie, and Rakentaja that have millions of users monthly and over 50 million visits each month. What would you get to do?
Schibsted Suomi is growing to become a multiplatform and multi-vertical service. In this position, you would have a key role in keeping our marketplaces’ data on point. You would take part in developing our data & product measurement capabilities, designing data flows and visualisations, and provide understandable analyses and insights about marketplace usage and trends.
You would get to work in co-operation with our Product Managers and developers by suggesting and overseeing improvements in product tracking and analytics. With your expertise, you would help the product teams in defining their KPIs and different ways to measure them.
An important part of your daily work will be visualising and analysing the data for product teams and other stakeholders.
Some of the platforms and technologies we are working with: Tableau, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tealium Tag Manager, Amplitude, Snowflake, different relational databases etc.
What are we looking for?
You are humble and ambitious, feeling at home with our values of winning together, being curious and having courage. You are not afraid of working in the middle of changes and you enjoy problem-solving.
You have a strong experience in SQL and understanding basics from databases and in data visualisation and BI tools (ie. Tableau or equivalent).
You also have experience in web and product analytics tools (Google Analytics, Amplitude etc.) and in tag management systems (Tealium, Google Tag Manager).
You have an understanding of ETL pipelines and data flows (Matillion, Snowflake).
You are fluent in written & spoken English, since it is our company language.
