Business Finland is now looking for a full time, fixed-term (8 months) Data Analyst Trainee with a proactive attitude and analytical and customer-oriented mindset. In this position, your job tasks include the following:
Implementation of knowledge management roadmap for Finnish travel industry
Developing data collection, reporting and visualization workflows
Developing and implementing data analysis
Sharing and communicating research findings
Assisting executing operation model for knowledge-based management
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and Business Finland’s customers
Your tasks will vary from small ad-hoc analyses to being a team member in large development projects. In this Trainee position, working with your final Master’s thesis is also possible, if the topic is relevant to Visit Finland.
What we expect from you:
Relevant educational background from university or university of applied sciences (e.g. Information and Service Management, Business Administration, Business Analytics)
Solid experience in analyzing and reporting data to meet the needs of different stakeholders and good skills with Microsoft Excel (visualization and formulas). PowerBI or other reporting tools are considered as an advantage
Customer- and solution oriented mindset with good social skills: you feel at ease in an international environment
Fluent communication skills in English and in Finnish
Previous experience and/or interest towards traveling industry is considered as a big asset
You are a persistent person who gets excited and shows passion for what you do. You are a self-guided person who helps others and listens to colleagues. You have a “can-and-will-do” attitude, thrive on challenges, and are not afraid of tackling problems. Good organization skills, curiosity and eagerness to solve problems and a pinch of social intelligence will get you a long way with us.
