The telecommunications business of Airbus in Finland is looking for an experienced Customer Support Engineer to join our Customer Test & Support team in Helsinki. 

We are developing and maintaining complete telecom solutions for our worldwide customers. With us you have the opportunity to use these systems in our laboratories for end-to-end troubleshooting. Network Management Systems have an important role in our customers’ systems and to provide our customers the needed support for these products, we are looking for an NMS specialist to join our team.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
As a Customer Support Engineer your tasks will be software troubleshooting of complex telecommunication systems (TETRA, LTE), and their integration and verification by using agile methodology, continuous integration and test automation. As part of our team you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and on-site support to our customers and our local engineers worldwide and act as a point of contact for queries and support from our areas, resolve complex faults and analyze their impact. You will evaluate changes to product/system/network and interface control to linked product/system/networks. Depending on your skills and interests, the role may involve tasks related to managing technical solutions internally and with our partners.

What we expect:
We expect you to have a degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related fields, and preferably competences in Network Management systems.

We also appreciate if you have experience in:
- Modern high availability systems and platforms, clustering, redundancy including geo-redundancy and load distribution
- Blade based servers, HPE Server Platform products 
- Linux and virtualization (especially RedHat Virtualization and VMware)
- IP protocol, networking and backhauling (VoIP, Mobile IP, VLAN, VPN, OSPF, VxLAN)
- Security for IT network and applications (Authentication, End-to-end encryption, Firewall, Proxy, IPsec, SSL, vulnerability)
- Relevant certifications such as RHSE and CCNA are a plus.
- Configuration control
- Scripting (Python, Ansible)
- Test Automation (Robot Framework)
- Good spoken and written English skills
- Willingness to travel to any of our customer sites world-wide
