Customer Service Specialist Finland & Baltics

Essity is looking for a Customer Service Specialist in our business Consumer Goods in Finland & Baltics, the position is situated in Espoo, Finland. We offer you the chance to become part of the Customer Service Team for Finland and Baltics, which is a part of the Regional Business Logistics team, which is a function within the Sales and Marketing organization for Consumer Goods at Essity. You will be responsible for the specialist support to customers, focusing on more complex services and assignments. You will also support the rest of the Customer Service Team with analyzes and data and you will be reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader for Finland and Baltics.

Key Tasks and responsibilities
  • Process the daily sales orders so that they are dispatched, invoiced and paid on time (Order to cash)
  • Register and follow up on customer complaints
  • Update and maintain the master data of customers, materials and pricing in SAP and other computerized systems
  • Responsible for correct electronic article information in GS1/LANSA following the Product Inphase and Product Outphase process (PiPo)
  • Drive logistics projects to improve collaboration and service to our customers
  • Analyzing data for distribution cost and creating budget and forecast.
  • Collaborate with customers and functions within the organization, such as production, warehouse, transport, distribution, to resolve daily challenges as well as planning of distribution (campaigns, bank holidays etc.)
  • Execute stock counts, register and control inbound and outbound flows of market warehouse
  • Compile and report statistics and KPI’s (service level, complaints etc.) analyzing deviations to identifying root cause and initiate corrective actions
  • Work closely with Demand Planning to identify deviations in expected sales patterns, tracking orders received against sales forecast to ensure continuity of supply
  • Handle and verify transport invoices and responsible for transport quality


Education and experience
  • Customer and Consumer focused
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience from logistics or customer service
  • University of Applied Sciences degree in Business or Logistics is preferable
  • Language: Fluent in English and Finnish
  • Experience with SAP is preferable
