Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as


within Business Unit Consumer Sales Nordic. Consumer Sales Nordic is responsible for the sales of products and services to private customers and small and medium-sized companies in the Nordic region. You will drive analytical initiatives in cross-functional teams and work closely with other analysts in Helsinki and Stockholm.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Make quantitative analyses to generate insights and identify new business opportunities.
  • Use advanced analytics and predictive models to optimize business results as well as customer experience.
  • Work proactively with large and complex data sets and explore new data sources.
  • Together with other analysts and IT, maintain and develop our data environment, taking advantage of new technical opportunities emerging in the market.
  • Proactive driving of initiatives that help the organization perform better on the market.
  • Follow up and reporting.

Your background and profile

  • University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Business information systems, Computer science, Engineering).
  • Knowledge of building predictive models and advanced analytics, preferably in a sales and marketing setting.
  • Experience working with large data bases and multiple data sources.
  • Programming skills (e.g. SQL, R, SAS).
  • Ability to clearly present conclusions and recommendations that can be easily put into action.
  • Experience with Big Data or Cloud computing technologies is a plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Finnish and English.

We are looking for a dedicated analyst and team player, who enjoys using quantitative methods to create business value and has the pedagogical skills to effectively present insights to marketers without quantitative background. You comfortably manage parallel assignments and deliver to multiple stakeholders.
