As a Customer Engagement Team Manager you are in charge of planning and organizing the customer service delivery team so that the team performs at its best in its role and in co-operation with other teams. You need to know the customers´ contracts by heart. The team´s primary responsibilities are ensuring deliveries and driving further sales. You are also a member of customer account leadership team, which is led by Customer Executive or Customer Manager.
Your contribution and background
You are accountable for all deliveries towards specific customer in the defined Public area. Together with the customer team and internal team members you create suggestions on how to further improve the customer offering and bring these ideas to the customers. You carry out overall responsibility for planning new features or changes to the existing systems. You also lead overall team performance and productivity, focusing on continuous improvement.
We are looking for a person with good business understanding and who wants to ensure profitability of the deliveries. This is a growing area and your main focus is ensuring the deliveries and customer satisfaction, supporting the sales and creating growth.
We expect you to have experience in agile software development. You have good understanding of application development, testing and application management services. Previous team management, service management or project management experience is a strong asset. You have good leadership skills with ability to empower and coach people. You have experience in Lean and Agile principles, SAFe (scaled agile framework) and preferably you have lead agile projects, possessing a natural interest in continuous improvement, serving customers in the best possible way and people development. It is an asset if you have worked in global projects and teams before. You have excellent communication skills with fluently spoken and written Finnish and English. It is a benefit if you have Public industry knowledge and good insight to the Public sector customers.
You have a positive "can do" attitude and you are used to work in a matrix organization. You can lead change and prioritize work to provide balance between short term priorities and long term health of managed applications. As a person you take accountability for your own actions and commitments, working actively and independently towards the targets, focusing on outcomes. You are also a team builder and a team player. You possess excellent social and networking skills and have ability to inspire others to achieve great results, you lead by example. You are enthusiastic about continuous improvement and being able to lead change. You assist the culture of learning and sharing and you like to challenge and inspire people to develop. You also have enthusiasm to develop customer’s business and help them to achieve their targets.
