What's the role?
Working in the finance team you will be responsible for operational credit and collection tasks. Your key objectives will be to ensure the compliance of credit and collection processes, up to date credit policy and continuously improve the processes in the area. You will directly manage the relationship with internal and external stakeholders and provide operational support for the business.

What does the role involve?
As a Credit & Collection Specialist you are responsible for coordinating and monitoring departmental credit and collection activities. You will be partnering with Sales teams to provide them with up-to-date information on customer accounts and credit information. You will execute on-time, efficient and correct processing of credit & collection related matters. You will be the key user of the credit and collection system (SAP). Your main targets will be to reduce customer payment time and ensuring that all processes are compliant and efficient. This position provides timely and efficient collection of the company’s account receivables and approves orders on new accounts as well as additional credit for existing accounts resulting in maximum sales, sound receivables, and minimal losses. You will be taking part of finance related projects and continuously drive to improve processes and the way of working within your team. This role provides good customer service and support for sales and other back office functions. You will be working in a finance team of six and closely cooperate with the Northern European region team. The position will start at our head office in Vantaa, but we will move to new premises in Keilaranta Espoo in the beginning of 2019.

What you need is:
  • Fluent English and Finnish skills (both written and verbal)
  • You’ll have a bachelors’ or masters’ degree in business or finance/accounting
  • Some previous finance/accounting experience is a benefit
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills
  • High energy level and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills and eager to learn and develop
  • Advanced Excel skills
