The ambition of the Consumer Board division is to be the global benchmark in high-quality virgin fibre cartonboard and the preferred partner to customers and brand owners in the premium end-use packaging and graphical segments. Our wide board and barrier coating selection is suitable for the design and optimisation of packaging for liquid, food, pharmaceutical and luxury goods.

Imatra Mills is searching for a professional and self-motivated Controller to join our mill controlling team.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Manage the Imatra integrate capex portfolio from controlling perspective
  • Taking apart in and calculating business case studies
  • Responsibility of quality and timeliness of monthly and quarterly closing and support in rolling forecast and 5 year frame activities
  • Support management decision making by offering needed business analysis and reports of own responsibility area
  • Monthly / quarterly reporting, bookings, accruals and calculation runs in system
  • Reporting to different external instances
  • Participation in system development
  • Supporting of different administrative tasks in controlling, invoice handling
  • Developing the mill reporting practices
  • Internal control documentation in own responsibility area
  • Supporting the development programs of the mill with financial information

Qualifications

Education:

Masters Degree in Accounting & Finance or similar

Language requirements:

Fluent Finnish and English skills, Swedish is an advantage

Process and application skills:

  • 5+ years professional experience in the area of reporting and controlling, analyzing, accounting activities and related processes in an international corporation
  • Strong book keeping background and SAP system knowledge is seen as advantage
  • Strong interest in process and tool development
  • Solid understanding of fundamental financial principles. Good knowledge of IFRS rules is a benefit.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and/or business processes and mill processes is an advantage
  • Fluency with MS Office tools
