Controller / Financial Management Partner

We are now looking for Controller / Financial Management Partner located in Helsinki. This is a permanent position, starting as soon as possible.

This position will provide you a unique viewpoint and ability to contribute to the development of ISS’ Key Account business unit from the finance point of view. Business, IT & HQ business unit provides integrated facility services to well-known domestic and international companies. Your main responsibility is to ensure controlling support to certain key accounts operating in banking sector. You will participate in monthly reporting processes and provide analysis on performance through selected KPIs. In addition, you have an important role to give insight to the operative management regarding the critical focus areas in the business. You will have a pivotal role in developing financial reporting and planning processes, both for short-term and long-term. In this role, you will report to Key Account Director, Financial industry.

As Controller and a Financial Management Partner, you need analytical thinking and strong business-oriented mindset. You are a structured team player with flexibility and ability to enjoy working in a high-paced environment. Your approach is proactive, efficient, and systematic and you are eager to learn and to actively further develop your own responsibility area. Most importantly, you are known for your solid communication skills, and you are comfortable in influencing across organization regardless of reporting lines. You are the partner to key account managers and directly collaborate with our customers for better business outcomes.

To succeed in this position, you should be proficient, especially in Excel. Experience of working with the common finance solutions (e.g., SAP, Qlik Sense, Coupa) is seen as a benefit. You have also basic knowledge of handling the finance related processes and master data in SAP. You are accustomed to work in a matrix organization, and you communicate fluently in both in Finnish and English. Your professionalism is based on e.g., BBA (Bachelor of business administration) or M. Sc. (Master of Science) with focus on accounting and some experience in business controlling or equivalent in operative environment.
