Fastems is looking for Control System Engineer for their team in Tampere! In this position youll get to work on interesting factory automation projects, most of which are international and offer you a chance to travel abroad. Were looking for new members to join the Fastems Software Supply Function. The department has grown to become a solid software powerhouse of its own, currently employing over 100 developers/engineers. You will join our team of experts, designing software products and solutions for Fastems. Our ways of working are flexible and we encourage remote working.

The job requires experience in PLC and Robotics Programming. Commissioning of the automation system is finalized at the customer, so you need to be willing to travel and have the capabilities to work independently in an international business environment. Thus, you must have the ability to act independently with a can-do attitude in demanding specialist tasks. Fastems' clients are mostly in the metal cutting industries.

JOB DUTIES

* PLC and Robotics Programming
* Testing of automation systems at the Fastems factory
* Implementing automation systems globally at the Fastems' clients

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* At least 0,5-2 years of relevant working experience
* Experience in PLC and Robotics Programming
* Understanding of machines and devices
* Suitable educational background
* Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Knowhow from consultant work and understanding of the hardware functionality and electrical skills are seen as an advantage.

Other information


* Start: According to agreement, in the beginning of June at the earliest
* Duration: 12 months, possibility to continuation and to get recruited to Fastems
* Location: Tampere and global travelling, in total at least 80 days a year.
