We are looking for a Contract Manager to strengthen our international team and provide dedicated support on one of our Global Strategic Accounts in a multi-cultural environment. You will provide full contractual support and expertise on the Account to the wider business. You will report to a Senior Contract Manager. The position can be located either in France (Paris area), Finland (Helsinki) or Sweden (Stockholm area), depending on the location of the selected candidate.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Support and advice local teams in the implementation of local agreements in line with a master agreement, in strong collaboration with legal counsels in country.
  • Answer all questions on the contracts, and be the point of contact for all contractual issues.
  • Train the Central and Local teams on the contractual requirements to leverage contractual Compliance.
  • Assess the risks and the impact of changes and any deviations from the standard terms.
  • Advice on how to limit such risks and increase profitability through a right use of the contracts.
  • Ensure the right approval channel, in compliance with Sodexo Group internal delegations and the contractual Governance and Cycle of Change.
  • Leverage knowledge management and consolidation of best practices on the Account.
  • Implement and maintain Change Control Log, Deployment and Contract Management reports, Contract databases, tools and procedures, in line with the contractual requirements and ensuring consistency with the existing ones.
  • Get the different stakeholders to abide to the global tools and processes.
  • Take part to Governance meetings with the Client, reporting on the status of the local contracts, the change requests and any escalated issue
  • Follow-up with the right stakeholders within Sodexo and the Client organizations until completion of the local contracts, change requests and action plans.
  • Assist the Senior Contract Manager on other files / projects.
  • You must be available to travel occasionally for periods lasting two or three days

You will succeed in this position if you have:

  • 3 years working experience in a multi-cultural and multi-jurisdictional environment, ideally in legal or commercial arena.

  • Relevant university degree, e.g. Master in Laws, Master in Business Administration / Economics

  • Professional use of English (Business & Legal English).

  • Excellent command of Excel & ability to master various software.

  • Experienced in getting people to abide to top-to-down processes (e.g. Delegation of Authorities) on a large scale.

  • Strongly organized way of working, with the ability to prioritize.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to advice on business problems and to follow-up action plan with various stakeholders.
