Compliance is at the heart of everyday business and a top priority area for Nordea. The Control Room unit is located within Wholesale Banking (WB) Compliance and plays a critical role in ensuring effective management of conflicts of interest issues and that measures are in place to prevent the misuse of sensitive information within the Group. The Control Room is looking for a Compliance Officer to join the team. You will become part of the WB Compliance team in Group Compliance, and will be responsible for providing Control Room compliance advice to relevant businesses in the Group.

Your future responsibilities
You’ll join the Control Room team which is responsible for advising, monitoring, reporting and training on compliance risks to ensure adequate and proactive compliance risk management in the business, thereby helping the business leaders and teams in developing ethics and risk culture. You will work closely together with both Nordic and local compliance colleagues and businesses. You report to the Head of Control Room in WB Compliance, Blanca Løvic, and will be located in our Helsinki Office in Finland.

We are looking for a candidate with experience from compliance or regulatory risk management. You have experience with advising and supporting leaders and employees in their customer interaction - also in more complex matters - to ensure a high level of business ethics. You also have experience with communicating with stakeholders in a transparent manner to understand their needs, encourage good cooperation, build trust and to make sure compliance risks are effectively addressed in a way that enables them to be compliant.
