Meet some of our trainees from last summer! 

We are eager to hear what you will say after the summer of 2023! 

As our trainee, you will support the Employee Engagement Communications team in  internal communication activities - including planning, execution and measuring. Coordination, data-gathering and support with events will also be part of your job. You’ll be creating content that supports our transformation and strengthens our culture. On a daily basis, you will handle publishing and support internal content creation. However, we will expect you to provide new and innovative ideas and be ready to act on them with the support of your team. 

The team consists of five professionals, and the main job of the team is to support Neste strategy by increasing employee engagement through effective and impactful communication. We will guide and support you and give a good introduction for the job and our company. 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to be at the final stages of your studies in Communications, Marketing or a similar, relevant field. We are looking for a trainee with excellent communication skills in Finnish and English. We hope you are motivated to learn and that you have good attention to detail, you are willing to take initiative, and you have a can-do attitude and good cooperation skills. Having some experience in internal or external communication is a bonus.

Your salary will be determined based on  the job and its requirements, your relevant previous working experience and the number of course credits you have from your studies. For some roles, the recruitment process may include a health check and drug test. The planned time period for the summer job is 1 May - 30 September 2023.
