About the position
As Communications Manager you will be part of our small Marketing and Communications team in Helsinki. You will play an important role in formulating and communicating content in several channels for all units in SEB in Finland both externally and internally. SEB in Finland offers integrated solutions for corporate and institutional customers, cards as well as life insurance, wealth management and private banking services. This means that you will have a broad focus in your job.
Your ambition to create engagement is crucial supporting the local management team in strategic marketing and communication. You will together with your colleague focus on setting and delivering a Marketing & Communication strategy for SEB in the Finnish market. You will also be part of SEB’s global communication network where you will take part in global initiatives from time to time.
We expect you to have strong track record within communication execution combined with a strong driving spirit with lots of integrity but never fail to collaborate with all parts of SEB. To succeed in your role, we expect you to be an excellent writer with experience of using digital channels, interest in corporate social responsibility and knowledge and interest in the financial industry. You have the ability to handle large amounts of information and make complex things easy to understand. You enjoy a work environment with high tempo and with various tasks as this job includes both strategic work as well as operative hands on routines. You have a broad network of professionals to support you but still you enjoy working independently.
We appreciate previous experience working as a copywriter, journalist or working with communications on a broad level. You have an exam in communication, journalism or economics. It is preferable, but not necessary, that you have experience from working with communication and strategic marketing and media relations. You can write professionally and inspirational in both Finnish and English. Knowledge of Swedish is seen as an advantage.
