About the position
As Communications Manager you will be part of our small Marketing and Communications team in Helsinki. You will play an important role in formulating and communicating content in several channels for all units in SEB in Finland both externally and internally. SEB in Finland offers integrated solutions for corporate and institutional customers, cards as well as life insurance, wealth management and private banking services. This means that you will have a broad focus in your job.
Your ambition to create engagement is crucial supporting the local management team in strategic marketing and communication. To succeed in your role, we expect you to be an excellent writer with experience of using digital channels, interest in corporate social responsibility and knowledge and interest in the financial industry. You have the ability to handle large amounts of information and make complex things easy to understand. You enjoy a work environment with high tempo and with various tasks as this job includes both strategic work as well as operative hands on routines. You have a broad network of professionals to support you but still you enjoy working independently.
We appreciate previous experience working as a copywriter, journalist or working with communications on a broad level. You have an exam in communication, journalism or economics. It is preferable, but not necessary, that you have experience from working with communication and strategic marketing and media relations. You can write professionally and inspirational in both Finnish and English. Knowledge of Swedish is seen as an advantage.

In 1856, André Oscar Wallenberg started Sweden's first private bank, becoming the country's first venture capitalist. The bank has been characterized by his innovative thinking and commitment to society ever since. We have accompanied businesses and families out into the world for more than 150 years.
SEB has grown together with the customers. We are different from other Nordic banks in several ways, but mainly through our unique business mix with an emphasis on corporate banking and through deep and long-term relationships with our customers in the Nordic and Baltic countries and Germany.
We are also proud of our history – more than a century and a half of it. This gives us a firm tradition to stand on but has also taught us to be resilient and take a long-term perspective. Above all, it has given us an insight: close relationships with our customers are paramount.
