As commercial manager, you will have the responsibility for the go-to-market strategy of our products. You will work strategically to ensure the best possible offer for our customers and together with sales function ensure that we are able to deliver this value in our customer interactions. Your responsibility will include ensuring that we have profitable projects, utilizing our product portfolio and sales resources in maximizing customer lifetime value.
You will work with different customer segments and brands, with Finland as focus area. As part of a global team you will collaborate across the Nordics, ensuring best practice sharing and learning. You will take part in and lead projects to improve and expand our existing business and explore new opportunities.
The role reports to Head of Business Unit Living and Enterprise, Insuring and Securing.
Commercial manager is a position within one of the most exciting growth areas in Fortum’s consumer strategy. We believe that the right candidate has experience from either working strategically with sales and go-to-market strategy (for instance within management consulting) or from sales management. Preferably from industries with running customer relations, such as retail banking, insurances, telecom, utilities. Experience with agile innovation methods (such as Lean startup methodology) is an advantage.
You also have relevant higher education (Master’s degree) within relevant fields (e.g. economics, business administration, sales management), although practical experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
As a person you have a commercial mindset, with strong target orientation, and usually take a data driven approach to decisions. You are interested in world class customer experiences, with focus on perceived customer value and digital solutions. You are a team player, and easily manage complex organizations and work together across the entire organization to deliver best results possible. You thrive in fast changing environments, enjoy new challenges and continuously seek to improve through new and existing activities.
Strong Finnish and English language skills is a requirement for the position.
