Cloud Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cloud Technical Lead to join the Infrastructure team in our Minerals Business Area! The Cloud Technical Lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. This role requires strong technical expertise in cloud technologies, excellent self-leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to drive successful cloud adoption and optimization. In this position, you will report to Director, Digital Infrastructure.  

This position is mainly located in Espoo or Tampere, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.  

What you’ll do 

Cloud Architecture:​

• Design, suggest and implement cloud solutions based on industry best practices.​

• Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for cloud adoption and optimization.​ 

• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and solutions that align with business goals.​ 

Cloud Operations:​ 

• Oversee the organization's daily operations of cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.​ 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful cloud deployments and integrations.​ 

• Implement and manage cloud monitoring and alerting systems.​ 

• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues promptly.​ 

Security & Compliance:​ 

• Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to security standards and compliance requirements together with Metso IT.​ 

• Implement and maintain cloud security best practices and governance within the organization.​ 

• Participate in regular security assessments and audit activities.​ 

Who you are 

• You are proficient in Azure cloud platform. 

• You have a strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices. 

• You are experienced with cloud automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). 

• You have knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). 

• You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices. 

• You have strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders in a global environment
