Client Services Specialist

Blueprint Genetics is on a mission to bring world-class genetic knowledge to mainstream healthcare. We are now looking for a highly motivated, social and proactive team player in the heart of our customer service to fill the fixed term position of Client Services Specialist.
Our Client Services Team consists of energetic, innovative and positive experts of customer communication and Blueprint Genetics’ products. Our team has an essential role in the success of our company, and we work in close collaboration with all laboratory, production and clinical interpretation teams, as well as with marketing and sales. We at Blueprint Genetics are committed to providing clinicians, and their patients, with comprehensive and high-quality tools and resources for diagnostics of genetic conditions. We work with hundreds of clinics around the globe and the quality of our interpretation has been praised by many of the world’s best medical centers.
In this position your primary goal is to offer world-class customer support to our Clients and ensure that our delivery process works smoothly. With the phone and email as your main work tools, you will answer to questions concerning our products, ordering, sample requirements and clinical statements. In addition, your daily work will consist of taking care of order processing, quality control, recording sample information, submitting initial test reports and maintaining records in the CRM system. You will contribute to developing our customer communication process. We hope you have an interest towards Life Sciences for example through studies, but most importantly you are eager to learn more about our products and services.
We are looking for a person who is passionate about creating great customer experience. You are a true team player with the ability to work proactively yet independently across teams. You have excellent communication skills and are able to provide high level service in English and Finnish. You thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment and manage to multi-task even with interruptions, without being demotivated by routine back-office tasks. Furthermore, you do not get startled by tricky client queries but consider these as opportunities to learn. We promise to provide you the necessary on-the-job training to get you started, and you will have the full support of our experienced Client Services team along the way.
Our ideal candidate would have:
- A vocational or bachelor’s degree preferably in Life Sciences or relevant field
- 1-2 years of experience from a demanding customer service position, and enthusiasm to develop in this area
- Strong verbal and written skills in Finnish and English are required, other languages are seen as an asset
- Excellent problem-solving skills and result oriented mind-set, with strong attention to detail
- Previous work experience from medical or life science environment is considered as an advantage

This is a full-time, fixed term position of approximately 12 months, with a possibility for extension.
