We are now looking for a

Client Manager

to plan and execute Finnair’s global corporate sales activities. In the role, you will be given an international client portfolio to manage, build and develop. You will actively sell and promote Finnair routes, products, fares and services to corporate clients, business travel agencies and to other clients globally. You will work in close cooperation with Finnair’s international sales teams and key stakeholders and report to the Head of Sales Finland and Global Corporate Sales.

Your main responsibilities will also include:

  • Increasing the client base by identifying and following up on sales leads and actively contacting feasible potential new corporate customers.
  • Negotiating and following up on corporate agreements locally and globally.
  • Negotiating and implementing marketing and activity plans as per agreements.
  • Planning and executing travel agency sales opportunities, identifying new potential partners and feasible distribution channels.
  • Maintaining a profitable working relationship with current travel agency clients and distribution channels and identifying new sales opportunities within existing channels.
  • Developing Finnair corporate sales and participating actively in the overall development of Finnair sales operations in assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Acting as Finnair representative in sales and promotion events and actively creating Finnair selling, training and presentation opportunities.

To be considered for the position, we expect you to have:

  • Relevant higher level commercial education (e.g. MSc (Econ), MBA)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales.
  • Fluent Finnish and English, both written and spoken.

Airline and/or travel industry experience will be considered an advantage.
