Chief engineer/Engineer to paper machine process engineering

Are you interested in process engineering and willing to take the next step on your career?

As a Chief engineer you are in charge of delivering the process engineering to our projects. The size of the projects varies from smaller modernizations to the whole mill process engineering. You will participate to process system dimensioning, planning the collaboration with subcontractors as well as documentation. In this position you don’t have direct reports, but you will collaborate deeply with different parties.

The position title can be Chief engineer or Engineer depending on your experience. Your location will be in Jyväskylä. Travelling is essential and required part of this role. You’ll travel approximately 20-50 days per year all around the world, depending on the projects.


You have bachelor’s or master’s degree in process engineering or similar field. You may have some years of experience, but also recently graduated can apply to Engineer position.

In spite of your experience level we value your enthusiasm to learn new things. You should have the basic skills to use AutoCAD and other 3D designing programs.

You should be able to work systematically and efficiently also under pressure. You are motivated by achieving good results and collaborating with other people.
