We are seeking for a business-minded Category Manager to join our Commercial team in Finland, helping us in delivering the best products for our customers and consumers.
As a Category Manager for Findus Finland you will be a valuable team member of our dynamic team. You will report to our Commercial Lead Finland and take ownership of the category management of our retail products in Finland, consisting of a varied high-quality frozen food selection. You will be the vital link between our Finnish commercial team and the Nordic marketing organization, ensuring efficient collaboration and execution, contributing to continuous profitable growth for Findus Finland and our customers through best in class category management. You will be responsible for an integrated category vision in line with overall strategy of Findus Finland and develop the perfect store programmes for our customers. You also help us in developing and ensuring we have a strategic plan for our in-store and customer activities.
Additionally, you will develop and provide analysis from consumer & market insight and internal data to support our commercial team in creating value to our customers. You will have a critical role in supporting the commercial team in trade negotiations, campaign and promotion planning and in day-to-day support and co-ordination of updated customer and sales materials. Our premises are located in Kaivoksela, Vantaa, but we will continue working flexibly (office / remote) in the future as well.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
To be successful in the role you should be enthusiastic, commercially orientated and customer focused. Ideally you have a minimum on 3-5 years of experience in a similar / relevant role (planning marketing / branding activities & campaigns) preferably within FMCG, however we are also valuing individual potential for growth. You should be fluent in Finnish and English, with strong presentation skills both written and orally. You should have strong analytical capabilities, and we appreciate experience of analysing sales data from relevant sales databases. eCommerce experience will be beneficial, but not necessary in the position. Finally, you should be independent and have a structured manner of working, while strong team playing abilities are also vital in our international organization.
