We are looking for a
Category Manager, Trading Supplies
for Metsä Group Sourcing & Logistics function.
What's your role in the future Metsä?
In this new role you will be responsible for category management and sourcing of Away from Home products for Metsä Tissue. This includes for example dispensers for paper products and consumables, related chemicals and subcontracting of various finished products.
You plan and implement the sourcing category strategy in close co-operation with product management and supply chain. You will have the overall responsibility for the suppliers, including contracting, cost efficiency, quality, delivery performance and continuous improvement. Together with suppliers and product management you ensure that new products or changes are implemented on time and in efficient way to meet the customer requirements.
The position will be located at Metsä Group Head Office in Espoo, Finland and includes some travelling.
What are we looking for?
You have Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in technology or economics and proven skills and experience from sourcing, contracting and supply chain. We are looking for a person with good understanding of product development process and capability to drive NPI-process with suppliers. You also have good contract negotiations skills and your experience from mechanics sourcing is appreciated.
As a person you have ability to get things done in international matrix organization. You have good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills as well as fluency in Finnish and English languages.
