The history of Arcos Hydraulik goes back for over 70 years, when the company initially manufactured various products for manufacturing industry. After some years of remarkable transformation, Arcos Hydraulik is today the leading supplier of hydraulic solutions in the Nordic region. They are now in an exciting phase and looking to appoint a new Business Unit Manager to lead the business in Finland.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced leader to take the responsibility of the Finnish company’s strategic direction, business operations and people. Reporting to the Group CEO, you will develop a business strategy that delivers sustainable profitable growth via both existing and new clients. You will lead the organization in Lahti, with approximately 35 employees and turnover of 5 million euros.  You will be an active part of the strategic work with Management team and board as well as prepare and implement comprehensive business plans in order to facilitate success by planning cost-effective operations and business growth. 

Experience and Qualifications

 
The ideal candidate will be a confident leader, who is able to steer the company in a profitable direction and fulfil its long term goals. Ideally, you have proven track record in succeeding in a similar position with full P/L responsibility. You may have a background in metal industry, related sector or from companies that manufacture components to the machine industry. You are familiar with HR, finance and best management practices. Overall, you are an excellent people leader with ability to facilitate improvement in organisation and culture, with entrepreneurial mind-set. Technical or commercial education is needed as well as strong spoken and written English skills.
Swedish is considered meritorious.
