Within Fortum Consumer Solutions Division, the Business area Insuring & Securing is responsible for the value added services business with retail customers throughout the Nordics. Our purpose is to broaden and strengthen the customer relationships via attractive offerings such as insurance solutions, price security services, sustainability products and payment services. We are now looking for a Business manager that will lead the value added services business for Kotimaan Energia, one of Fortum's brand in Finland. The role will be part of a global team of five people, and reports to Head of Business unit Energizing, Insuring & securing.

Your role

  • Profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for value added services in the portfolio.
  • Lead and secure delivery on set targets regarding customer base, sales margin and profit contribution in close cooperation with supporting roles.
  • End-to-end development, management and continuous improvement of existing and new services throughout the product life cycle.
  • Go-to-market/sales strategy as well as pricing strategy and price setting for all services in the portfolio.
  • Provide business functions with support to develop sales argumentation, training etc.
  • Ensure consistent, world class customer journeys for services, including sales, marketing and customer communication.
  • Manage and develop relationships with partners and vendors.
  • Global category ownership for a category of value added services, securing global best practices and operational synergies cross country operations and local brands.
  • Regulatory compliance.

Your qualifications

  • Minimum three years of experience from successful and committed business or product management role within consumer markets, preferably from retail insurance, telecom or other similar industries (subscription type of customer relations). Experience from energy and utilities industry is seen as an advantage.
  • Relevant academic education, M.Sc. in Economics & Business Administration, Industrial engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven skills and track record regarding successful go-to-market and tactical sales steering in consumer markets.
  • Track record from successfully managing relationships with external vendors and partners.
  • Strong commercial mind set and business acumen, with strong drive and target orientation.
  • Proven analytical skills, highly structured and naturally takes a data driven approach in decision making.
  • True team player with proven track record from developing and managing relationships and networks in large complex organizations.
  • Working proficiency in Finnish and English.
