We’re now looking for a consumer orientated Business Manager to join our growing team at the Elisa Consumer Entertaining Services Business at Elisa Viihde Sport

The position is an exciting role with an opportunity to make an impact on overall success of Elisa Viihde and sport content business since sport plays a key role ensuring the full competitiveness of Elisa Viihde.

As a Business Manager, your primary responsibilities and objectives are to commercialize and develop Elisa Viihde Sport services and content offering. First and foremost, you will steer marketing and sales activities inhouse, but also develop and synchronize activities with our partners. You will seek, experiment and implement new solutions to drive growth and to create meaningful experiences for existing customers and to attract new ones.

You will manage and evaluate the business performance through continuous analysis. As Business Manager, you'll participate in developing our sales management, content design and usage of analytics to further improve our customer and business insight, to crystallize our customers’ needs as well as to ensure competitiveness of Elisa Viihde Sport services. You will work closely together with software developers, service designers, customer communications, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless entertainment experience for the customer. You also participate in active monitoring and reporting of KPI-indicators.

To be successful in this role, you need to

  • Possess several (3-5) years of experience in developing, launching and commercializing sport content and/or online consumer services, preferably within media, TV or online video services – in other words, you have proven track record for suitable capabilities for this role
  • Have natural interest and passion towards sports – we're producing content for other sport lovers
  • Have the ability for bringing services to the next level by challenging and innovating new ways of doing things better
  • Be able to work both creatively and analytically with a commercial mindset and customer centric approach
  • Have excellent social skills! You communicate and discuss naturally with sales interface as well as with local sport organisations and influencers
  • You have a passion for delivering superb customer satisfaction through deep understanding of customers and you're actively growing your networks
  • In order to meet your objectives, you need to possess knowledge of lean and/or agile methods as well as monitoring and developing of KPI-indicators. Experience in managing multicultural cross-functional teams in matrix organizations is appreciated.
  • Have a suitable Master’s level academic degree. Fluency at least in Finnish and English is needed.

Extra credit and bonus points will be awarded for having earlier experience on managing sport rights and/or contracts.
