Valio Baking business category has an open position for an experienced Business Manager in Helsinki.

Your main responsibility is to lead and develop the baking business area according to category and Valio strategic goals. Valio baking products include creams, curds and quarks.

To succeed in this role, you should be business-oriented, innovative, and self-driven and be passionate about food products, baking and cooking. You should have the ability to independently identify and pursue plans and actions in line with category plans and targets. Previous experience and knowledge of brand and concept development and digitalization is seen as a great advantage. You know how to take the lead and manage projects in cross-functional teams.

Your responsibilities include:

• Manage and develop the baking business in a results-driven way
• Create and execute Valio baking category business plans
• Develop future business and brands in your portfolio
• Lead NPD projects and work closely with both internal as well as external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Strategic, business-oriented thinking and analytical skills
• Successful track record in leading and developing business cases
• Previous experience in brand and concept development
• Experience in project management of cross-functional teams
• Growth-driven mentality, result oriented, self-driven
• Open-minded and creative mindset, ability to think outside the box
• Can-do-attitude, resilient and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and inspire others
• Excellent communication and language skills: fluent Finnish and English
• Relevant education and proven track record from a similar position
