SemiQon is on a mission to realize the promise of quantum computing by delivering scalability through powerful, resilient, and cost-effective silicon-based quantum processors. To reach the mission, they are now looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join the growing team in Espoo! The role is permanent and the starting date is negotiable; ideally, you could start working in January 2025.
As a Business Development Manager, your key responsibility is to accelerate the company’s growth by building and developing new customer relationships. SemiQon’s targeted clients include Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and public organizations all over the world, mostly in Europe, North America, and Asia. In this role, you will play a crucial role in engaging with future customers and tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs. Your primary objective will be to establish strong client relationships and achieve revenue targets through customized technical solutions, all while maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will not only help SemiQon reach new clients, but you'll also have the opportunity to shape the future of the company’s sales and business development. With a small but impactful customer base, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on new technology and developing custom-fit solutions.
Your key responsibilities in a nutshell:
- Managing the whole solution sales process, from initial conversations to understanding and specifying the client’s needs and turning them into tailored solutions with the support of the technical team
- Growing the customer portfolio and developing long-term relationships with global customers in the OEM and public sectors to drive revenue growth
- Balancing financial considerations, including pricing, timelines, and project specs, to meet customer and company goals
- Working closely with the executive team, who will assist you in both strategic decisions and technical solutions
- Developing SemiQon’s business development strategy and internal processes
- Implementation and ownership of the CRM system
We hope you have:
- Interest and ability to build strong client relationships in the field of new technology
- Previous work experience in relevant tasks
- Suitable educational background, preferably technical (industrial engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, etc)
- Familiarity with CRM tools
- Solution-oriented mindset with great collaboration skills
- Full working proficiency in English, other languages such as Finnish and Spanish are seen as an advantage
