We’re now looking for a

Business Development and Risk Analyst

In our Portfolio Management & Trading business unit (PmT) based in our Espoo office

Portfolio Management & Trading business unit manages Gasum’s risks, adds value through PM and Trading, seeks business opportunities, supports sales, and keeps the wheels turning. You will work closely with highly talented professionals in our BU as well as Finance department. The Business Development and Risk Analyst is member of PmT Operations unit and reports to Head of Operations.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • PmT business development; market and value chain analyses, scenario assessment, pricing, overall development of business opportunities
  • Carry out economic calculations (cost, cash flow and profitability calculations)
  • Contribute to the development of business models and value propositions
  • Participate in many types of business development projects and strategy development

What we expect from you/ Required experience and personal qualities:

  • Master’s degree from business, economics, or engineering
  • A few years of relevant work experience, ideally from risk management and/or business development
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Curiosity towards new ideas and opportunities
  • Team player attitude
  • Fluent English, other language skills are benefit

We also value earlier experience from the development and assessment of new business opportunities and work experience from multicommodity business (natural gas, LNG, power, green certificates, emission allowances).
