In our new Electric Vehicle Business Line (EVBL) we develop and manufacture battery systems from 48V up to High Voltage for automotive and industrial applications. Valmet Automotive covers the full range from contract manufacturing to a TIER1 system supplier.

Here’s where you’ll make an impact:
As a Business Controller your main objective is to support and act as a sparring partner in the steering of the EVBL financials, by having a sixth sense for data and providing value added analysis for strategic decision making. Your preferred location is Turku, Finland, but Salo/Uusikaupunki, Finland can be considered too. 

Your responsibilities will among other things include:

• EVBL monthly reporting and estimates
• EVBL budgeting, estimates and schedules
• Transfer Pricing
• Support in various modeling tasks e.g. product costing and business models
• Development of the above

We hope that you would have:

• Business minded and entrepreneurially driven
• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience preferably in an international environment
• Good stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on mentality, paired with a flexible work style to cope with a fast-growing work environment
• Excel in Excel
• HFM and SAP experience is seen as an advantage
